The Council recently held an international careers and jobs program at David Lipscomb University in Nashville. We were pleased to share the program with you in this video presentation.

Among the regular programs presented by the Tennessee World Affairs Council are opportunities to connect specialists from a broad spectrum of global affairs occupations with people, especially students, who want to know more about jobs and careers in the international arena.

Save the Date: International Night 2013 – Cookeville

The Tennessee World Affairs Council is pleased to announce it will partner with the Cookeville Breakfast Rotary Club to organize the 4th Annual International Night on Saturday, January 26, 2013. This year’s honored country is Japan, following on celebrations that featured India, Saudi Arabia and Germany. Mark your calendars for that date and plan to join TNWAC and Cookeville Rotarians at a great event that will include a reception, dinner and cultural entertainment. International Night is set for 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Clarion Inn, Cookeville for January 26, 2013. We will see you there.

TNWAC Participates in MTSU International Awareness Program

MTSU’s new Saudi Students Association will serve as host for a special campus event, “Building Bridges,” on Friday, April 8, to encourage cultural awareness. The free public gathering, set from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the Tennessee Room of the James Union Building, features a keynote address from Patrick Ryan, president of the Tennessee World Affairs Council.

2011 International Outreach Program Features Saudi Students

The Tennessee World Affairs Council is pleased to announce the first event of the 2011 International Outreach Program featuring the country of Saudi Arabia and the students of the Saudi Student Club of Tennessee Tech University. The opening program of this outreach project is “International Night,” an annual event of the Cookeville Breakfast Rotary Club, set for January 29, 2011 in Cookeville, Tennessee.
