The Tennessee World Affairs Council is pleased to welcome 13 teams from 3 states to the 2017 Academic WorldQuest Championship Match. You are invited to join us on Sunday afternoon for this flagship event on the World Affairs Council’s calendar and celebration of our 10th Anniversary.

Academic WorldQuest Championship Match — Who Will It Be This Year?

The fourth Tennessee Academic WorldQuest Championship Match is set for February 21st with ten teams ready to compete. WorldQuest is a flagship program of the Tennessee World Affairs Council and the 95 other members of the World Affairs Councils of America (WACA) network. It encourages high school students to develop an interest in global affairs and current events through study and a competition for four-student teams.

Remembering 9/11 and Putting Afghanistan in Context

On the occasion of this anniversary we remind our members, friends of the Council and members of the community that we will host a town hall program about Afghanistan and America’s role there on Monday evening at Belmont University.
