14th Annual Great Decisions Teachers Institute

For High School Educators

June 25-29, 2018 / New York City

The Great Decisions Teachers Institute is a once in a lifetime opportunity for high school educators to immerse themselves in some of America’s biggest foreign policy challenges and build their skills in teaching international affairs. For four days, teachers from across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will attend lectures presented by experts and policy makers, interact with teaching colleagues, and acquire new teaching resources and curriculum ideas.

There is no fee for the program, meals and accommodation are provided, and a travel stipend of up to $300 USD is offered to teachers who are traveling from outside of the Tri-state area.

Topics will include Russia’s Foreign Policy, the Geopolitics of China and America, and South Africa’s Fragile Democracy. For more information, including a full list of topics, please visit fpa.org [LINK].

To apply for the Great Decisions Teachers Institute, all applicants are required to complete the application questionnaire.  The application can be accessed by clicking on this link, or by visiting www.fpa.org/institute/.

High school educators nationwide are invited to apply by March 16. All applicants will be notified by April 13.
