Members’ Event | Dinner and Speakers at a Turkish Restaurant | June 27

GLOBAL EATS is the Tennessee World Affairs Council dining out program for current paid members. We’re relaunching this popular program after a pandemic hiatus.

Join fellow TNWAC members for an evening of good food, tips on Turkish cooking, good conversation, new information and fun.

You’ll hear from the Anatolia Turkish Restaurant staff on Turkish cuisine and launch into a great meal. During dinner we’ll turn the floor over to Barry Ballinger, Belmont University Assistant Professor of Architecture. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Turkey and will talk about the the country’s historical, political evolution and the relationship with spatial considerations. Of course, your like-minded TNWAC members will have much to contribute to the dinner conversation on the current high interest news coming from Turkey.
