The Tennessee World Affairs Council has been pleased to work with the Cookeville Breakfast Rotary Club in the past to promote one of the best events of the season. Every year the club chooses a country to recognize at its global polio eradication fundraising dinner. This year it’s Greece.
It combines everything we like about programs: a global awareness emphasis, great food and entertainment and raising funds for a fantastic purpose. In this case the Cookeville Breakfast Rotary Club’s International Night, now in its 7th year, proceeds go to the fight to eradicate polio from the globe. How good is that?
