Global Trade and Investment In A New Administration | Symposium Video

The Nashville Chamber’s International Business Council and Baker Donelson organized panel discussion of global trade under the Trump Administration featuring diplomats from America’s leading trade partners.

The February 15th panel held in Nashville included: Consul General of Canada, Louise Blais; Consul General of Mexico, Javier Diaz de Leon; Consul General of Japan, Masami Kinefuchi; Consul General of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Jeremy Pilmore-Bedford; and Doreen M. Edelman and John Scannapieco of Baker Donelson.

A full-house of Nashville area business people heard first-hand insights and perspectives on the changes and challenges in international commerce that were being discussed during “Campaign 2016” and new White House officials.

Following the lengthy conversations and questions the World Affairs Council President Patrick Ryan interviewed several of the panelists to be able to share their perspectives with you. The links to videos of these conversations are here.

The “International Business Council Luncheon: Update on Trade and Foreign Investment Under the New Presidential Administration” was presented by the Nashville Chamber’s International Business Council and Baker Donelson in partnership with the Center for International Business at Belmont, Japan America Society of Tennessee, TN-China Network, and the Tennessee World Affairs Council.
