Jeremy-Goldkorn-photoJeremy Goldkorn is the founder and director of Danwei, a research firm which began life in 2003 as a website that translated and analyzed Chinese media, Internet, government regulation, and censorship. In 2009, shortly after Goldkorn opened a consulting business in Beijing to operate the website, it was blocked, and the company pivoted to providing media and market research services. The Financial Times acquired Danwei in 2013. [Complete Bio]

Rubin – Long active in public affairs, Mr. Rubin joined the Clinton administration in 1993 as assistant to the President for economic policy and as director of the newly-created National Economic Council (NEC). In January 1995, Mr. Rubin was appointed the 70th Secretary of the Treasury of the United States. He served until July 1999, and was involved in balancing the federal budget; opening trade policy to further globalization; acting to stem financial crises in Mexico, Asia and Russia; helping to resolve the impasse over the public debt limit; and guiding reforms at the Internal Revenue Service. [Complete Bio]

sheldon-daySheldon A. Day has served as mayor of the City of Thomasville (Alabama) since 1996. During Mayor Day’s 19 years of mayoral service, the City of Thomasville and surrounding rural area has seen over $700 million in capital investment and the creation of more than 1,000 new manufacturing and service sector jobs. In addition, the city government and schools have partnered to bring high quality education and innovative career technical programs to the area; they have become a model for the state of Alabama and the southeastern United States. [Complete Bio]

daniel-rosenDaniel H. Rosen is a founding partner of the Rhodium Group (RHG), and leads the firm’s work on China and the world economy. RHG combines policy experience, quantitative economic tools and on-the-ground research to analyze disruptive global trends. Mr. Rosen’s focus includes U.S.-China policy dynamics, interpretation of Chinese economic performance indicators, and assessment of long-term Chinese reform and policy directions. RHG’s China research contributes to corporate strategy and planning, investment management, and political risk assessment of China and its global interactions. [Complete Bio]

stephen-orlinsStephen Orlins has been president of the National Committee since 2005. Prior to that, he was the managing director of Carlyle Asia and the chairman of the board of Taiwan Broadband Communications, one of Taiwan’s largest cable television and high speed internet providers. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Orlins was a senior advisor to AEA Investors Inc., a New York based leveraged buyout firm, with responsibility for AEA’s business activities throughout Asia. [Complete Bio]
