Your World Affairs Council is a member of the 90+ network of grassroots public service educational nonprofits dedicated to informing our communities about the world. Every November council members and the public are invited to the National Conference of the World Affairs Councils of America.

The conferences are a unique blend of distinguished speakers, networking and offsite visits to think-tanks, diplomatic outposts and other organizations. There’s plenty of opportunity to network with others who are concerned about global affairs in the luxury of the historic Mayflower Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C.
