An event of interest in Nashville:
The stage is set in Nashville, Tenn., from October 16 through 19 for the 34th Annual Joint Meeting of the Southeast U.S./Japan and the Japan-U.S. Southeast Associations (SEUS/Japan). Returning to Tennessee after 14 years, this prestigious gathering of global business leaders celebrates longstanding economic and cultural ties and offers delegates from Japan and eight Southeastern U.S. member states unparalleled opportunities to forge new ones.
Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen and private-sector Chairman Jack O. Bovender Jr. (retired chairman of HCA) will host the meeting at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel, in the heart of Music City’s historic downtown. Against a vibrant music industry backdrop and under the theme “In Harmony With Tradition and Innovation,” more than 500 corporate decision-makers and executives will take full advantage of the business discussions, networking sessions and hospitality that have become a trademark of this annual event.
Delegates from both the public and private sectors attending the Annual Joint Meeting are invited by one of the member jurisdictions within the two associations.
