The mission of the Tennessee World Affairs Council is: To promote, on a non-partisan basis, understanding of important international issues, throughout the community with a special focus on the region’s schools. The Tennessee World Affairs Council was launched in Cookeville, Tennessee in 2007. It has since moved its base of operations to Nashville, Tennessee, hosted on the campus of Belmont University, where it will carry out a statewide mission of bringing programs and resources to communities addressing international affairs.
