Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter

The Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter was established in 1945, the first of over 125 local chapters of the United Nations Association-USA (UNA-USA). It is part of a national nonprofit, bipartisan organization that supports the work of the United Nations and encourages active civic participation in the most important social and economic issues facing the world today.

The chapter is named for and honors our native son, longest-serving US Secretary of State, “Father of the United Nations” and Nobel Peace Laureate, Cordell Hull.
