distinguished speakers series

Our in-person events at the Tennessee World Affairs Council offer dynamic opportunities to engage with global issues right in your community. From expert panels and speaker series to cultural celebrations and networking receptions, these gatherings provide a space for meaningful dialogue and connections. A hallmark of the World Affairs Council has been the quality of the keynote speakers as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series – foreign ambassadors, American diplomats, business leaders, government officials, scholars, military officers, and other thought leaders and specialists. Attendees can deepen their understanding of international affairs, interact with diplomats and thought leaders, and meet others who share a passion for global education. This series is designed to inform our community on critical current affairs and create lasting connections that bridge local and global perspectives.
