Academic WorldQuest Update: Dec 5th Practice Slides

Well done to the eight teams of students and teachers who participated in the Academic WorldQuest practice match on December 5th at Belmont University. All came well prepared for a competitive display of their global affairs awareness in this opportunity to get ready for the February 25, 2018 Tennessee Championship match.

Congratulations to a team from Martin Luther King, Jr., Magnet HS of Nashville for their 73 point victory.  Well done to a team from Randolph School, Huntsville who was right behind, in second place with 72 points. Everybody did very well and we look forward to seeing them in February.

Thanks for the World Affairs Council volunteers who made it all happen: Catherine Kelly (TNWAC Education Outreach Coordinator), Salwa Saba, Sam Waitt and Trevor Bane. We couldn’t do it without you.

We’re happy to share the practice match slides here and on our Slideshare.net account. You can view the questions and answers here as well.
