National Conference Update

The World Affairs Councils of America is hosting the annual conference in Washington on November 3-5, 2010 at the Mayflower Hotel. Ambassador Marc Grossman, WACA Chairman, announced today news of additions to the already impressive lineup of speakers. Director of the White House National Economic Council, Larry Summers, will be the keynote speaker at the Friday evening (Nov 5) closing dinner. Deputy Secretary of State Jim Steinberg will be the keynote speaker at the Friday morning session. The agenda (LINK HERE) already contains many speakers who will provide informative, provocative and useful information for all.

In addition to the speakers at the general sessions, members of the Chairman’s Circle (LINK HERE) will share a breakfast on November 3 with former Defense Secretary William Cohen, Ambassador John Negroponte and Washington Post correspondent David Ignatius. Joint Chiefs Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen is an invited speaker to the Chairman’s Circle dinner on 3rd.
