The Tennessee World Affairs Council is a non- partisan and non-profit educational organization dedicated to delivering global affairs programs and resources to communities and schools. As Tennessee’s premier forum for global awareness programs since 2007, TNWAC’s has developed a reputation for unique initiatives that connect Tennesseans with experts, leaders and ideas from around the world. We work to improve “global literacy.”
TNWAC, a 501c3 charitable organization, is supported by private funding from individuals and corporate member dues, gifts and sponsorships.
As a regional center for education and discussion of world affairs, the Council provides leadership for global thinking. Insights and a broad perspective are necessary for effective competition in the globalized world and for responsible citizenship in the increasingly interdependent global economy.
TNWAC is co-winner of World Affairs Council of the Year from among 96 member councils in the network.
