Distinguished Visiting Speaker Program

A priority of the World Affairs Council is to offer presentations to the public and students from diplomats, officials, scholars, business people, military officers, and other specialists in international affairs. This is done through a vigorous program of town hall meetings, school and university seminars, visits to civic organizations, small group meetings and other opportunities for speaker appearances. The World Affairs Council’s speaker program includes regular visits by foreign ambassadors representing their nation’s in the United States. We welcome collaboration with other organizations and we seek recommendations for speakers, topics and venues.
