BIOGRAPHY

Charlotte Taylor is from Nashville, TN. She is a part time Program Assistant (Volunteer) at the Tennessee World Affairs Council where she works on the Climate Challenge project team and supports TNWAC’s social media production. Charlotte is a student at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service where she studies Culture and Politics. Her research interests include the intersection of gender, environment, and peace and security. She is specifically interested in investigating the gendered impacts of colonialism and climate change on environmental security of women and gender minorities in Latin America. Charlotte reads, writes, and speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Charlotte is also passionate about equity in education; she co-founded Study Buddies 4 Equity, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing equity in education in the greater Nashville area. In her free time, you can find Charlotte watching indie films or going for long walks in Washington, DC.
