Getting Started

The Anne Smedinghoff Academic WorldQuest is the flagship youth education program of the Tennessee World Affairs Council (TNWAC) and the national network of World Affairs Councils. It is a team game testing high school students’ knowledge of international affairs and encouraging them to learn more about the world.

Here’s how to get started:

1 — Learn more about WorldQuest [Link]

2 — Organize teams at your school. Encourage students to start following the TNWAC Weekly Quiz (source of current event questions) and tracking their global affairs activities for the Global Scholar Certificate Program.

3 – Contact the Tennessee World Affairs Council for information and tips. [Email: info@TNWAC.org | Tel: 931-261-2353]

4 – Consider organizing a World Affairs Club as a adjunct to your WorldQuest teams. [Email: info@TNWAC.org or 931.261.2353]

5 – Register your school for WorldQuest [Link] As early as possible.

6 – Register for the December 8 Practice Match (Optional) [Link] By Dec 3.

7 – Register for the Febrary 23 Championship Match [Link] By Feb 4.

8 – Pay registration fee [Link]
