#GivingTuesday is right around the corner

Thanksgiving Eve, 2018

Dear Friends of the World Affairs Council,

As we gather around the table tomorrow we will give thanks to the people who have made a difference in our lives and the lives of our fellow citizens. Among them will be our friends who have made possible the quest to inform the community about the critical global issues of our time.

We may have a conversation about challenges to our country’s security and prosperity and we will also give thanks to the men and women who are spending their Thanksgiving in harms way for those of us who enjoy the protections of freedom they provide.

Our conversations will be informed by the many quality speaker programs and other global affairs awareness events the World Affairs Council hosted this year, and we may even be able to make progress with that relative who thinks they know everything!

We hope you too will be thankful for the blessings of liberty we enjoy and mindful of the duties of citizens to fulfill the responsibilities of citizenship by staying informed about the world that America must navigate. To that end we remind you of the value the World Affairs Council brings to our community and that to accomplish its mission the Council depends on stakeholders like you.

#GivingTuesday is next week. As someone who values having an outlet to dive deep into global issues, I hope you will consider contributing to your World Affairs Council and help to shape the future.

You can make a donation of any size, and if you make a donation of $60 or more you’ll receive member benefits.

Wishing you and your family and friends all the best this holiday season.

Kind regards,
Patrick
