2022 World Affairs Council of the Year
Network of Independent World Affairs Councils of America

#GivingTuesday is Here. Won’t You Support Your World Affairs Council

#GivingTuesday

Today is the 3rd most popular day for people in America to demonstrate their support for nonprofit organizations that they believe make their communities and country a better place.

Your World Affairs Council has worked over eleven years to deliver programs and resources to address the “global illiteracy” issue.

In a country where just 29% of adults surveyed by the National Geographic and Council on Foreign Relations can pass a test on global affairs awareness — a critical element of responsible citizenship — the World Affairs Council has an important role to play in the community.

Today we need you — World Affairs Council stakeholders — to help us as we work to achieve an important mission.

  • The mission of the nonprofit, nonpartisan Tennessee World Affairs Council is to promote international awareness, understanding and connections to enhance the region’s global stature and to prepare Tennesseans to thrive in our increasingly complex and connected world.

Take a minute on this #GivingTuesday to show your support for better citizenship in our community and among the next generation.

Thank you for your $20, $50 or $100 gift.
